| Since we launched Spiritual ConneXtions back in March 2005, we have had an astonishing 18.4 million visitors in just three years (December 2007 statistics); we have also received numerous amounts of feedback from visitors around the world; we have also won an Award for Best Service 2007 from Vision Magazine; our service has a growing interest with the media and we have also interviewed many well known personalities such as Gordon Smith, David Wells, Mia Dolan, Stephen O' Brien, Colin Fry, Steven Holbrook, Jacky Newcomb and Ray Brown - just to name a few. |
In 2007 saw us taking a giant leap of faith. We - for want of a better word - “organised” the first ever Spiritual ConneXtions Acknowledgement Awards Ceremony (SCAA) to provide an honest, tasteful platform to celebrate the awesome talent of those who live their lives embracing the spiritual, holistic and paranormal world. Being candid, it wasn’t hard to spot the gap in the market. So we decided to “dip the toe” with our first spiritual awards ceremony at Southampton Guildhall, England. And, whilst it was a voyage of discovery and we did learn a lot, we emerged at the end of 2007 even more convinced that the show simply must go on!
So much so that, this summer (and by way of celebrating Spiritual ConneXtions’ third Birthday) we decided to set about organising the largest spiritual, holistic and paranormal award ceremony the UK has ever seen. “I’m sure you will agree that for decades we have witnessed a variety of professions honoured on a national and international scale. Why is it that actors, musicians, film stars and models receive such fine accolades, while those dedicating themselves to spiritual, holistic and paranormal work remain peculiarly unrecognised – even those who have progressed to theatre and television and become household names?”.
“To change the pattern, last year we successfully launched SCAA in Southampton to pay fitting tribute to those who have made a difference. We defined, outlined and celebrated their tireless work within spirituality, the holistic field and the study and practice of paranormal research, and this year we’re planning on going one better”.
This year the whole weekend event will be held at the historic Portsmouth Guildhall on 5th, 6th and 7th September 2008 – kicking off with the Friday 5th with an evening meal, followed by the main award ceremony, Saturday and Sunday is the holistic fayre, and Sunday night is an evening of mediumship by many well known faces. |
